Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy applies to "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada law (NRS 603A) and Connecticut law. Because our products are designed for morning heel and foot comfort, some information about what you browse or buy could suggest a health-related condition. This policy explains how we handle that information.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
- Products you view, add to your cart or buy (for example a night splint or heel cups), and the size you choose. We use this to sell, ship and support your order, process refunds under our guarantee, and keep order records.
- Information you choose to tell us in a message, for example about foot discomfort. We use it only to answer you and handle your request.
- Inferences that could be drawn from the above, such as an interest in heel or foot comfort products. We do not create health profiles about you.
With your consent only, we also use product-browsing and checkout activity for website analytics (Microsoft Clarity) and for measuring and showing our ads (Meta Pixel). We do not use these tools on our articles or other health-information pages.
Sources
Directly from you, and automatically from your device when you use our store (analytics and advertising tools load only after you consent).
Consumer health data we share, and with whom
- To provide your order (no consent needed, because it is necessary to give you what you asked for): Shopify (e-commerce platform and email), PayPal (payments), and our fulfillment partners and shipping carriers. They receive your order details, which identify the products you bought.
- Only with your consent: Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement and audiences) receives product views, add-to-cart, checkout and purchase events; Microsoft Corporation (Clarity website analytics) receives page interaction data.
We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use geofencing.
Your consent and how to withdraw it
In Washington, Nevada and Connecticut (and in California, the EEA and the UK), our analytics and advertising tools stay off until you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or on Your Privacy Choices. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and sharing for these purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it;
- get a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared it, with their contact information;
- withdraw your consent;
- have your consumer health data deleted (we will also tell our processors and third parties to delete it, subject to legal exceptions);
- appeal our decision about your request.
To exercise these rights, contact us through our contact form or by email at liel@contra-adv.co.il, and say that your request is about consumer health data. We will verify your request (for example by confirming the email address on your order) and respond within 45 days. If we cannot complete your request, we will explain why, and you can appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, or the Attorney General of your state. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
